Turkey is seeking parliamentary approval for a defense pact with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, a deal that could clear the way for military assistance to help Riyadh defend against Houthi attacks.

Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding with Russia on Tuesday to import larger volumes of nitrogen fertilizer and overcome difficulties in sourcing urea from Persian Gulf producers, according to the Agriculture Ministry.
