Binance has scrambled to freeze the affected assets, with about $3bn located so far. Co-founder Yi He said the company would cover “all hacking losses”. Analysts have attributed the attack to North Korean state backed hackers.
The Yorkshire born actor was with the Royal Shakespeare Company for 16 years. Is there anything you would like to ask the former Celtic, Arsenal and Scotland forward?
Ever wanted to ask Charlie Nicholas a question? Well, this is your chance. Whether you want to know about the season he scored 50 goals for Celtic, or the day he scored both goals as Arsenal beat Liverpool in the League Cup final, or his time on Soccer Saturday, let us know.
Nicholas was a true character. Not many footballers can say they have played for Scotland at a World Cup, been on the cover of NME, had one of their transfers announced on the stage of His Majesty’s Theatre on Hogmanay, and turned out for Clyde. Nicholas can. Drop your questions in the form below and we will put them to him.

We’d like to hear from people who’ve found love in later life
Getting older doesn’t need to mean the end of romance – and for some, it is just the beginning. Although relationships might look a little different after the age of 60, many people successfully find new love, companionship and connection in their later years.
With this in mind, we want to hear from people whose love life has been renewed after the age of 60. How does love in your sixties and beyond differ from romance in your twenties or thirties? Perhaps you’ve come out later in life, and started dating someone of the same gender? Or maybe you’re in love for the first time, and just discovering all that it has to offer?

Perhaps you have used an AI assistant to help with chat-up lines? Or you may have turned to one for some social coaching? However you have used AI for online dating, we’d like to hear all about it. What worked and what didn’t?
Are you a single woman? We’re interested in hearing about your relationship to sex
When the trailer for Wicker came out in July, it caused a frenzy. The film, which is coming out this month, stars Olivia Colman as a woman who commissions a basket-woven husband, played by Alexander Skarsgard.
Responses to the trailer were unbridled. The idea of a single woman taking control of her sex life - no matter how fantastically - struck a nerve.
We want to hear from people who have cancelled a wedding close to the event and why
Calling off a wedding – especially at the last minute – is rarely an easy decision. It can feel disappointing and costly. Even so, it can often be better than going ahead with a marriage simply because the venue is booked and the invitations have been sent.
With this in mind, we want to hear from people who decided to call off their engagement and either cancel or postpone their wedding. What made you change your mind about wanting to get married? How did friends and family take the news? What was the financial and emotional impact? Tell us about it – anonymously if you prefer – below.
The US economy is top of voters’ minds ahead of the November midterms with food and gas prices remaining high, the job market unstable, consumers angrier than ever, and a new Fed chair, Kevin Warsh, in place.
We’ll be hosting a live midterm election Q&A on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 12pm EDT on the Guardian US site with a panel of our business, labor and consumer rights reporters: Lauren Aratani, Michael Sainato, Heather TimmonsandGaya Gupta. The team will cover cost of living challenges, tariffs, inflation and new federal policy proposals from local candidates.
First Edition newsletter will be hosting a reader Q&A with economist Isabella Weber, a leading voice on inflation, affordability and cost of living and now’s your chance to put your questions to her
Isabella Weber is one of the most sought-after and influential economists of her generation, and has advised policymakers and governments in the US, Germany, Europe and Latin America.
She has become a leading voice on inflation, affordability and the cost of living. Her new book, Anti-Fascist Economics, looks at the relationship between economic insecurity and the rise of the far right, arguing progressive politics must respond to the rise of authoritarianism by urgently addressing the economic pressures people experience in their daily lives. For years Weber was treated as an outlier.
Weber is an associate professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an associate in research at Harvard’s Fairbank Center, and is the author of the prize-winning How China Escaped Shock Therapy.
We’d love to hear your questions. Perhaps you would like to find out how the cost of living affects the current political landscape? What’s happening in the bond markets? Or the advice she’d give to progressive politicians, from incumbents like Burnham and Mamdani to the German parties taking on the AFD. From austerity to zero deficits, nothing is too simple or complex.

Much is made of the decision to try to preserve fertility but less explored are the choices that come afterwards. We want to hear from people about what happened next
Oocyte cryopreservation, more commonly known as egg freezing, has been around for decades but the procedure stopped being considered experimental in 2012. Since then, elective egg freezing has boomed. Often represented as an insurance policy against age- or illness-related fertility decline, the process can be costly and complex.
While figures vary, research suggests most people who undergo egg freezing never access their eggs and results are mixed for those who do. Long-term storage poses its own costs and questions.
How has loneliness affected you? Please share your experience
We live in an age where we have better tools for communication and connection than ever before, and yet we are in the midst of a loneliness epidemic.
In 2025, a World Health Organization report identified that 1 in 6 people globally are lonely. The report defined loneliness as “the painful feeling that arises from a gap between desired and actual social connections.” Perhaps, most strikingly, the age bracket that had the highest levels of loneliness was 13–29-year-olds.
We would to hear about the changes in your life after taking GLP-1s
Around 100 million people globally are taking GLP-1s. The majority experience significant weight loss. Research has shown that women in particular experience greater success in dating and job-seeking as a result. We would like to explore the impacts of this: how do you go about processing this change? How hard is it to balance, or make peace with, such differing experiences of life before and after GLP-1s? Do you feel you have a “before” and “after” self?
If you have taken GLP-1s and lost weight as a result, and experienced changes in your workplace, your romantic life, or in how you feel about yourself before and after, we would love to hear from you for an article exploring the emotional adjustments involved in rapid and significant weight loss.
Is this a recent development, or are you a die-hard compact disc fan? What do you like about the format?
Despite the prevalence of music streaming services, CDs players appear to be having a resurgence.
John Lewis said searches are up 96% since July, and portable CD players are also proving popular, which chimes with a report this year that found CD sales are up 16%.
We would like to speak to people about how their early years coloured their relationship with cash
We would like to speak to people about how their childhoods shaped their attitude towards money in later life.
Do you think the way you manage money has been affected by your upbringing? Did your family talk about money openly, or was it a subject that felt taboo? And how has that shaped your attitude to your personal finances today?
