‘When I was at Mercedes we had written rules’
British driver held positive talks with teammate
Lewis Hamilton has said there remain no rules of engagement between the drivers at Ferrari, despite the 41-year-old calling for the team to employ them after he clashed with his teammate, Charles Leclerc, at the last round in Monza.
Hamilton was forced wide by Leclerc at turn two on the opening lap at the Italian Grand Prix, which he felt had been unacceptable. Speaking before the first meeting for the Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit in Madrid this weekend, Leclerc admitted he had been at fault and Hamilton said the pair had talked frankly and cleared the air in a forthright fashion.

World championship leader Kimi Antonelli became the first Italian driver to win his home grand prix since 1966
Will Gasly hold onto the lead into the first corner? That is the first test for the on-pole Frenchman. He will have Mercedes’ George Russell and the Ferrari duo in his rear-view mirror.
Ferrari are starting on the soft tyres, which means they are aiming for a fast start. Almost everyone else is on the medium to start. This will likely be a one-stop race, with most people expected to move to the hard tyre in that stop, although some are speculating that Ferrari could go from soft to medium.

Light at end of tunnel is ‘getting dimmer’
Team needs to show hunger and ‘passion’
Lewis Hamilton has suggested it is time his Ferrari team put their full weight behind his efforts to challenge for the Formula One world championship if he is to have a shot at the title, and warned his chances were diminishing with every race.
Hamilton trails Kimi Antonelli, the championship leader, by 59 points with 11 races to come. Having qualified in fifth for the Italian Grand Prix, one place behind his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc, who is 87 points off the lead, Hamilton was asked if it was time Ferrari gave him priority as their best chance for the title.

Scuderia bring upgraded engine to their home race
Winning at Monza would be ‘new territory’
Lewis Hamilton believes that a win for Ferrari at the team’s home race in the Italian Grand Prix would be a phenomenal moment in an already storied career for the seven-time champion.
The British driver, who would make history if he takes the flag at Monza, endured a torrid time with the Scuderia last season but goes into the race this weekend with a win under his belt and a very competitive car that may prove to be even quicker on the high-speed blast around the famous track.

Promoted Málaga slump to 4-0 defeat at the Bernabéu
Como defeat Napoli; Jones makes Inter debut in win
Real Madrid maintained their perfect start to the season in La Liga with a comfortable 4-0 home win over promoted Málaga on Sunday, scoring three times inside 30 minutes before adding a late fourth.
Jude Bellingham’s brilliant solo opener, an own goal by the Málaga goalkeeper, Alfonso Herrero, and a sharp Kylian Mbappé volley in effect settled the contest before half-time, with the substitute Arda Guler wrapping up the victory in added time at the Bernabéu.
